Easter Egg Hunt

The New Bloomfield Lions Club annual Easter egg hunt will be held on April 8th at 11:00 AM at the New Bloomfield pool and park area.

Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day parade honors all military personnel and veterans. It begins at 9:00 AM at the Borough Building and proceeds to Main St. via Barnett Woods Rd. Then, continues west through the town square and makes a left onto Apple St. Then,  proceeds to the Cemetery for the salutatory festivities.

Fireman’s Carnival

The Fireman’s Carnival is held during the 1st week of July. Festivities include food and drink, rides, games of chance, musical entertainment, and topped off with a fireworks display on the 4th.

Fall Street Fair

The Fall Street Fair sponsored by the New Bloomfield Fire Co. is held on the 2nd Saturday of September. The town square is closed to traffic and the single day festivities include food and drink, children’s activities, fire company exercises, arts and crafts displays, car show, topped of with a night of musical entertainment and dancing.

Halloween Parade & Trick or Treat

The Halloween Parade sponsored by the Lions Club is held on the last Saturday of October at 10:00 AM. It forms at the Bloomfield Elementary School and terminates at the Borough building. Monetary prizes are presented for best costumes by age group and floats. Trick or treat is always held on Halloween night (except when Halloween falls on a Sunday) from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM…rain or shine.

Christmas Tree Lighting & New Year’s Eve                         

Tree lighting ceremonies are generally held the last Sunday of Nov. at 5:00 PM w/ music and refreshments…The “Huckleberry Drop” on New Years Eve sponsored by the New Bloomfield Fire Co. takes place on the square from the Court House clock tower. If the event is scheduled and volunteers are available, hot refreshments are served; along with an entourage of local entertainers performing “Father Time/Baby New Year” to culminate the New Years’ activities.
