School Crossing Signs: As part of our ongoing commitment to safety in the Borough, specifically at Bloomfield Elementary, we will be installing two (2) flashing school zone signs on Chestnut Street. These signs will replace the existing signage to be in compliance with MUTCB standards. In addition, the existing “end of school signs” will be replaced with non-flashing compliant signs. Herr Signal is planning to start work tomorrow on the school traffic signals. They will be augering foundations Tuesday 7/26 and placing concrete on Wednesday 7/27.

Paving: GOH, the approved contractor will begin the first stage of our scheduled multimodal sidewalk/paving projects within the next week or so. Initially the contractor will start excavation of curb ramps and sidewalks at Barnett/Apple, Barnett/Locust/Lakeside along with sidewalk on Timber Circle next Wednesday 8/3/22, followed by concrete curb & sidewalk week of 8/8.
